From the 1st of July 2019, Paradise Medical Centre became part of the Coventry Navigation Primary Care Network. They total number of patients served by this network is 91,000, this is coming together of 15 Coventry practices. We hope to work together to provide better services for the patients we serve.

We will do this by providing 100% coverage of patients for extended hours access, this means that all the patients in the network practices will be able to get medical advice during the hours of 18:30 – 21:00 Mon-Fri and Sat-Sun mornings.

You will be able to get these extended hours appointments by ringing Paradise Medical Centre reception. If this is what you require please specify to the receptionist who will go onto offering the availability.

We are now also holding a short telephone triage clinic every Thursday afternoon for emergencies only.

The funding for the network includes an arrangment for employing a pharmacist to fulfil jobs relating to prescription, this will help to free up the doctors time to attend to more appropriate consultations with patients. Please make use of the pharmacy service if you feel appropriate.

Further funding is available for having a link worker or social prescribing worker who will be able to signpost patients requiring these services. We will provide further details of this as the service develops.
